To all Shipwright Contributors and End Users:
In an effort to make Shipwright an inclusive and safe space, we have
renamed the default branch for the build controller (our most active
repository) and website from "master" to "main." This implements the
work
that was discussed and agreed to in build issue #666 [1].To learn more
about why we are making this change and why the use of "master" is
considered harmful, please refer to the guidance from the Inclusive Naming
initiative [2].
Existing pull requests have already been updated to point to the "main"
branch. Pull requests for github.com/shipwright-io/build should be rebased
to update their GitHub actions configuration [3]. Contributors should
update their forks to sync changes to the "main" branch from here on.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this change, please reply
on the list or reach out to us on slack.
