In prior community meetings and slack conversations [1][2], we had discussed donating Shipwright to the Continous Delivery Foundation (CDF) [3]. Today we are officially moving forward with this process, as Jason Hall has submitted a proposal to have Shipwright join the CDF as an incubating project [4]. This will put us in the same governing organization as Tekton and help ensure the long term stability of our project.
