I have created a GitHub discussion around Custom Task, their usage and their authoring (aka creating and maintaining custom tasks).
TL;DR: this is mainly a discussion to gather feedback on why or why not users rely on Custom Task as well as why or why not we create and rely on them. The general idea of this discussion is to identify whether Custom Task are a success (aka relied on) or not, what is missing from it, etc.. Basically, gather feedback on it, from all members and roles of the community.
